Periodic Inspection and Testing / Portable Appliance Testing (PAT)

We carry out full inspection and testing of properties for 'Landlords Report/Certificate'. An (PIR) inspection is required or advised for rented property, homebuyers - following water/fire damage, insurance purposes or just for peace of mind as to weather the electrical installation is in a safe condition to use. We also carry out PAT testing of appliances - This is often required by law for rental properties and most commercial buildings.

Electrical Certificates, NICEIC and Part P

An electrical certificate is required for all installation work in either domestic or commercial properties and KDW electricians are fully qualified to do so. All domestic electrical work can now only be carried out by a qualified electrician, by law. A certificate is issued for the work and then notified to the local area building control. Our electricians are registered with the 'NICEIC' which enables them to automatically self certify the work and notify building control directly.
